We started this blog when we were given the assignment to be food storage and emergency preparedness specialists in our ward (a church meeting group). We thought a blog might be a good way to provide one location with a variety of ideas on where to go to get started on food storage. We are currently the stake welfare specialists. We plan on posting lists of different places available in the Greater Phoenix area, have links to websites that provide good food storage information and provide a community to discuss different food storage and emergency preparedness ideas. The intention of the site is not to endorse or advertise and is not an LDS church site… it is just our personal site where we are collecting ideas to help others know how to get started with their food storage.
